You know when people say, “I know what i’m doing” usually quite earnestly, I always think no, you don’t actually know what you’re doing, you’re doing something stupid and are trying to excuse it in some way. Almost invariably people don’t know what they’re doing.
I used to say I know what i’m doing, and now I know better.

Cute, Orpy. I feel chastened by this viewpoint. Though I rarely pretend I know what I’m doing, in truth.
Still, ya gotta try stuff out to see if it works.
It’s always people in a weird situation, who say it in exasperation, those are the ones who don’t really!
